This week Year 5 and Year 4 non-swimmers have been finding out more about folk art as a response to our class book ‘The Girl Who Speaks Bear’ by Sophie Anderson. The novel is set in Eastern Europe and has illustrations based on folk art of that area. We have been looking at the work of American folk artist Heather Geller and have now started our own piece of folk art.
